My LO is 6 weeks old and recently is only settling for naps during the day in her swing, is this a going to be a problem later on? how else can I get her to settle, She has a dummy, I've tried laying her down with that but she just screams, tried without it she screams, the only way to get her to sleep after a feed, is in her swing. She absolutely loves it, some people have said if she's happy then its okay, but I always think to myself I'd feel sick if I was in a swing for 2 hours!

DD only settled in her bouncy chair or on us for about five months! I really wouldn't worry - as long as you keep an eye on her - sounds normal to me!

my little boy will only settle either in my arms or if i go straight out in pram after a feed

i wish i could get him to settle in his bouncer

I wouldn't worry.
In my experience (of H) they change their mind every few months about what 'works' - so you'll have a different thing to worry about soon ;)

:hugs:

My lo spent his first 2 months sleeping in his bouncy chair! Wouldnt sleep anywhere else. I wouldnt worry too much :)

Thanks girlies, I am going to have to stock up on the batteries then! xx

Our LO only slept in the day in the swing. They moved to the cot fine ans e only used one set of batteries too.

Mika spent his first five months sleeping in his swing during the day. He was wonderful at night in his crib, just not during the day. Now he sleeps in his playpen downstairs during the day and in his crib at night.

I really worried that I was setting myself up for trouble when we let him sleep in the swing, but it wasn't an issue at all. He took to his playpen really well, never an issue. I say, if she's happy, let her swing!

Ours too - but she stopped needing this around 8 weeks. One day she slept soundly in it, the next it kept her awake. Since then we've not needed it and it's now on Ebay! She naps really well in her cot now.
