Good afternoon Ladies,
I have had the unfortunate year. We have miscarried 2 pregnancies so being pregnant for the 4th time (I have a wonderful almost 2 year old little girl) makes me worried about everything to say the least. Well I had the nausea and breast tenderness for the past 3 weeks. Off and on cramping for a few days now and bad lower back pain. Bit neither are all day but there daily. This morning I woke up with no nausea and no breast tenderness. Still very crpy in my uterus area and back. I was told before this can be a sign of miscarriage. My last miscarriage ended in a DnC bc I was 11w3d and miscarried at 6w2d but my body did nothing about it expect loose symptoms at 8 weeks. My question is I want to go to the hospital but my husband thinks we should wait till we get home from vacation on Friday then go to my regular appt on Monday with my ultrasound then...

Do you think I should go now or does this sound at all common??

Thank you on advance

I'm not sure how far along you are, not sure if I missed it in the post?
But yes it sounds pretty normal. Your symptoms will come and go, and sometimes not come back at all. Cramping is also normal as your body is stretching and getting more space for baby. If there has been no bleeding then I would wait till your regular appointment, unless its unbearably painful. Not to sound harsh but if anything goes wrong there will be nothing anyone at the hospital can do to stop it unfortunately. But the symptoms you are describing sound normal, especially as your cramping comes and goes throughout the day. I would wait till your appt on Monday, relax and try and enjoy your vacation! Stress is worse for you an the baby than anything else xx

Ooh just saw the title of your post! 6w3d. That cramping is even more normal. I had massive cramping from about 5-8/9 weeks, it's when your uterus does a lot of stretching so don't worry xx

Forgot to mention the appt will be next Monday the 10th

With my last miscarriage my doctor said when I lost my symptoms I miscarried then. :( just really worried

If you are worried, go see a doctor. The stress of waiting will do you more harm than good. And in your situation who wouldn't be anxious????

Definitely get some reassurance xxxxxxx

Im sorry :-( Those symptoms do sound normal, and since there is no bleeding, I would try not to worry too much. I know Mommy's intuition is often right, but unfortunatly, there really is nothing that can be done. If you will drive yourself crazy, and you think only a scan will help make you feel better, then go for it. However, 6 weeks is still really early, and you might not be able to see much of the baby on a scan anyways, even if the baby was healthy, and that might make you worry more. I think maybe waiting until your appointment make since, unless there is bleeding. I hope the best for you!! :)

That's true, I couldn't see a heartbeat on my 6wk scan. Do you think that would worry you more? X
