7-8 month check?

I've just spoken to our Health Visitor as we've just moved into the area and she said she'll see me at Lucy's 7-8 month check up, I can't find anything mentioned about it in Lucy's red book, so was just wondering if anyone else has had this and what they checked, is it a developmental check up or a general medical check up?

I think theres a 9 - 12 month checkup but not sure if some areas just do them a bit before then xx

my son just had his check a couple of days ago. Its a routine check they do between 7 and 9 months.
They checked height and weight, checked his pincer grip, if he could bang two objects together, if his feet are flat on the floor when stood up, if he can sit stably, and asked about eating and sleeping habits, hearing and babbling, and seeing. Also, was given bookstart pack, and a tommee tippee sippy cup to teach him to drink without a bottle. Hope this helps x
