7 week ultrasound

Hey ladies, had my first ultrasound today, dating scan since my O date didn't match up with LMP due to having late O. After a few measurements varying 6-8 weeks (and letting out some urine haha) he dated little button at 7w1d, exactly what I had thought (photo says 8+3 but that was just the clearest picture)

Since baby was so tiny and it was an external US, he had a bit of trouble finding at first, but my little blob is definitely there. Really hard to tell what is baby and what is yolk sac? He didn't really explain exactly, just said the grey blob was our button. Was too small for us to actually hear heartbeat, but he brought up something on screen that showed it, but probably too early to measure the actual heart rate? Thought I would be relieved but am just as stressed haha.

Anyone who's had external US around this time, did it look like this?

My first ultrasound was at 6 weeks and 3days although I thought I was 8 weeks going by LMP - I've never recorded when I ovulated so could only go by my period dates I just took a picture for you of what my scan looked like at 6+3, sorry it's really fuzzy just quickly held it up to my laptop webcam.
When I had my scan the sonographer zoomed in and could show us the heart beating and it was so easy to see, it was simply amazing! and she also measured it being 124bpm.

P.s my ultrasound was external

I am wondering if maybe he did record the heart rate (we saw it on screen) and didn't tell me, for the most part everything I found out was by asking him, he didn't speak great English though. I know he was having a bit of trouble seeing things because despite getting sick this morning, i had too much liquid in my bladder.

Hoping my doc will have that info at my appointment next week though!

I was very lucky at my scan as the lady told me everything except I jumped the mark asking if she knew the heart rate right as she was about to bring it up on screen and measure it
I'm sure if he did measure it, he would have recorded it and had everything sent through to your doctor Do you get another scan at 12 weeks for the NT scan?

I'm not sure, will have to ask my doctor next week. I would like another scan around then just to make sure baby is developing properly and whatnot, but as I am younger I don't know if my doctor will even suggest a NT scan or not.

Hey.... I am 11 wks now but I've only had trasnvag scans, here is mine from 6 weeks... still looked like a tadpole And at the time of this sono I did not get a HB, but at 9 weeks the HB was 178. I have another scan on Friday, which is about 12 weeks.

Very cute! I wish I had asked for the transvag. He was having trouble seeing because I had too much liquid in my bladder, and he said after I emptied some that if he couldn't see it, he would do a transvag, but he was able to see a bit better after. But they seem so much clearer than normal external US.

my scan picture is my avatar when i was 7 weeks i asked what the heartrate was and the sonographer told me that they dont meaure it, they can just tell from looking that it was healthy x
