7weeks pregnant after 1mmc and 1mc

im delighted to be pregnant again!!!!! my hopes are all on this baby, although nervous, scared and anxious dont even cut it!
i have had an early scan at 6weeks and the midwife has booked me in for a 12week scan, has anybody got any advice at how i go about trying to get a 9week scan in....??? just to put my mind at rest really?????????

I had a miscarriage and so when i got pregnant again my doctor set up a 6 week, 9 week, and 12 week ultrasound. It was a good thing because it ended in a mmc. I would just discuss your fears with her and ask if it would be possible to please have a 9 week ultrasound just to make you feel more comfortable.

Most towns have an imaging center. You can pay for a private scan just for piece of mind. when I had one done with my last pregnancy it was around $100.

I am 7 weeks too. I do not go in for my very first appointment until May 3rd. I am so scared and nervous, but i will be almost 9 weeks by then. I miscarried at 8 weeks with my last pregnancy but the baby never grew past 5 weeks. May 3rd seems like a lifetime away.

I'm in a similar boat... 1 MC May 11 and 1 MMC in Dec 11 - now coming up to six weeks with this pregnancy, and nervous is not the word! I'm trying not to think about it too much as it's the only way to keep a handle on my worrying...

My doc told me there's no chance of getting early NHS scans unless you've had 3+ MCs, so I'm debating paying for an 8 week scan privately... the only reason I'm not sure I want to do this is that's how we found out about the MMC in Dec - I went for a private scan at 8 weeks and there was no heartbeat, and the fetal pole measured at about 5 weeks (I'd been temping so I knew my dates without question). Because of the Xmas hols it ended up being almost 4 weeks later that I finally had an ERPC, and it was the longest month of my life

Let me get to the point! When I went to my doc after the private scan he called the local EPU to get me booked on for a scan there, and he told them he was referring me because my pregnancy symptoms had subsided (he didn't mention the private scan), so perhaps that's the way to get one. A bit naughty perhaps, to stretch the truth in that way, but being beside yourself with worry isn't healthy, so I wouldn't judge anyone for telling a little white lie like that...

my pregnancy symptoms have subsided as from monday!! rang midwife and she said not to worry its perfectly normal!!!
obvs im not happy with her reply.....any advice??? is the doctor the best person to go to??? is there anyway i can just ring the hospital????
