8 month old talking and crawling?

so my 8 month old started crawling the other day and has just said his first word today. he said dad and i dont mean dada i mean dad.... anyone else?

Mine is cruising on furniture, she says things but I think more by accident rather than saying things with meaning if you catch my drift!

My daughter started crawling and pulling up at 7.5 months. Now she's busy destroying my house. lol

She says up (her favorite word, it means up, down, out, etc) mom (my 11 year old calls me mom) hi and last week, finally said dad (not dada, same thing 11 year old calls us mom and dad).

Megan was an early talker.... And had a handful of words with meaning before she even crawled. She didnt army crawl til 9 mo and proper crawl til 10 1/2 mo. She's always concentrated more on words than physical.

Eden started crawlin at 8 months an said mama when she cried haha now she says who's tha!!! Sounds so funny as she points at picture!

Elias is 10 months old (7 1/2 corrected) and isn't crawling yet. He says mama and dada though, and rolls around, and scoots on his face in an attempt to crawl.

Kians almost 10 months and crawls and says "Dad" while crawling to my OH or "Mam" when he is crawling to me, "man" when he drops something :S I suppose thats better then swearing! (He got that from his daddy), when you ask "what's Kian" he will reply "Baba", whenever MiL comes round his favourite word is "Nana" and when me and OH is talking he usually says "yeah yeah yeah" (I believe he has picked that off my brother) He has said other words but not repeated them so not classing them or he is just making random noises (possible?)

My eldest could say mum, bye and hello at 8 months, and crawled at 6.. my youngest however, isn't even sitting up yet let alone crawling and talking!

My LO has just started walking, shes been cruising and crawling since 6 months and she can say mum, hi, nana and shes just learning dog, the cutest thing is when she claps and waves, she also says dad but she only says it when she bashing things (i like to think she does it because hes a waste of space and if she saw him she might start bashing him with things lmao, but think thats just my wishful thinking) xx sorry kinda went on a bit of a single mum rant lol xx
