Riley didnt get one either, he just got a 1 year review with HV

I know it varies but I didn't get one either. 6 month and then 12 month.

8 month they will weigh, try and do height and just see if theyre developing right.
Ask you things about you child being vocal, motor skills, eating and drinking wise.
Basically just a checkup to make sure you have no concerns.
My HV did Max's at 7 months instead of 8

we get HEAPS of checks and they do the same things every times. They weigh, take length and head circumferance. Check joints, eyes, hearing, motorskills, speech. They ask you a bunch of questions to make sure everything is on track and then they'll ask if you have any concerns or questions.

Can he crawl? Can he say words? Any concerns? Talks about their safety ... Weaning uhhhmmmmm gives you a few things, just general things really if you look in your red HV book it says in there a few things they check

Kayla gets one at 9 months. She had her 6 month checkup late at 7 months (last week) :S

Hollie has hers next week I think I'll just sit Hollie on HV knee and say you assess her and I'm off to try and get some sleep, call me when your done.

Really though would be nice to see if they acctualy do anything this time, rather than sit down with a brew chatting about how hard work is!!

I didn't have one. Just a 10-12 month review. Which unfortunately for me, was awful. I was asked a load of questions critisised for many things and came back home and had a good cry. But, I am sure your's won't be like that!
