Leah is nearly 8 months old and for the past few weeks whe keeps bringing up her milk soon, if not straight, after eating it, and i mean in a projectile way soaking everything. She is well in herself and it can't be a bug as it has been going a few weeks now. It is only when she has her milk that she is sick - if she just has a food meal with a drink of water she never brings that up.

If she wakes in the night for a bottle she often brings it up and soaks her sheets and clothes.

Surely she shouldn't be doing this at 8 months old? I feed her it slowly, pausing every couple of ozs, keep her upright 10 mins or so after (although it doesn't usually take this long if it is going to come up), her mattress is tilted so she isn't laying flat. xxx

ETA: oh, and she often makes a loud straining noise, during eating her milk and quite often during the day inbetween and arch her back?

Is she teething? Omar went through this phase at 8.5 mnths. He was teething badly & had a cold & it affected his reflux (excess saliva & blocked nose). Hope she gets over it soon hun xx

thanks hun xx we have no teeth but she has been suffering on and off for months now! she has been snotty as well for what seems like forever. just worried she might be developing reflux or an allergy to milk as it is only when she has milk that she brings it up? Gave her a bottle at 5.30 this morning and heard her whinging about half hour ago so went in and her sheets were soaked :( xx

I think u need to check with her Dr hun. If she's not suffering frm reflux earlier, it might be intolerance or a bug. hope she gets better soon :hugs:
