This is my first confirmed pregnancy. I started spotting last night around 9 pm (a lot of light pink on the tp, plus some drips in the toilet), went to the hospital just to make sure everything was ok. I haven't had any cramping or anything like that with the bleeding. They ran my beta and it was 19316, but since they don't have anything to compare it to, that doesn't really mean much. This morning, I had a lot more in the toilet and tp, but it was a darker brown with "flakes." I wouldn't call them clots necessarily because they were so small.

I'm supposed to have my first ultrasound Tuesday, but I'm going to call my doctor tomorrow and see if it could be bumped up.

Does any of this sound familiar to you guys? Should I be concerned? I've basically already convinced myself that its not viable so I won't have any bad surprises tomorrow or Tuesday.

I don't really have any advice but didn't want to read and run, your dates are the exact same as mine and I also have a scan booked for Tuesday which I'm dreading and I haven't had any bleeding so I can't imagine how you must be feeling, try to keep calm and relax, I really hope everything is ok for you x x

I was always told if its not fresh blood don't worry. Hope this helps. (Brown blood is old blood) xx

I had brown spotting on Friday I was 8+2 scanned the same day because I had pains and everything was fine tho I do have a urine infection xx

I don't have an answer for you but wanted to send my support. I would also definately see if your dr can get you in today. Bleeding or spotting while not uncommon (and not always indicating something is wrong) should absolutely be checked by a dr. I hope everything turns out to be ok! :hugs:

I appreciate all the responses, guys! Wanted to give an update.

We had our ultrasound today, where we determined I am actually 6w+1. Everything looked great and healthy, according to doc, and we saw the heartbeat! :) As soon as he put the wand to my stomach and saw my baby, it just started flashing away. He went ahead and did a transvag and measured and all that, so we should be ok, hopefully. *sigh* :)

Here's to healthy babies for us all!
