I'm not sure, but I think it's best to use the conceive+ during the act. I mean, put it in b/4 you two get to bd'ing. I'm not sure tho. I use preseed and I think the rreason for putting it in b/4 hand is so that it can adjust the ph in you vaginia so it's good for the sperm. I could be all wrong tho, that's jsut what I've read. But I don't think it will hurt anything, the way you did it. good luck
