8dpo and faint positive on opk?

Hi there, I had my mirena coil taken out at the beginning of February and have been tracking my ovulation since then with OPKs. Had a strong positive nine days ago and according to FF this would make me 8dpo. But then this morning (after feeling strange o like cramps) I took another OPK test and it came up positive. Can you ovulate twice in a month after mirena?

OPKs dont test for ovulation. they test for LH, which surges before ovulation. unless you've been taking your Basal temp as well, there's no way of knowing if you actually ovulated.

basically! your body can surge without releasing an egg. so you may have multiple surges in a cycle, but only release an egg once.
