8dpo and feeling miserable :-(

Hi girls. I hope you are all doing well, keeping sane and that some of you will be getting your bfp's soon. I am 8dpo today and like a stupid idiot I have tested 3 times today all bfn's of course! I got my bfp,s in my last 2 pregnancies both at 9dpo so had planned to test again on that date....which is tomorrow...but I feel so stupid and disheartened now I can't see the point! If its bf, now it will be in about 8 hours time too surely? I feel so low and miserable and it just keeps reminding me of the pregnancy we lost in july. Its not helping that I've got rotten low down cramping tonight and bad backache so I am sure that the witch is on her way. Wish I couldd stop obsessing and peeing on sticks because its driving me insane.........sorry for the moan but with one thing or another....its been a rotton week!

sorry hun, not fun. I lost a pregnancy in August, I know how hard it is to be calm about waiting for another bfp after that. Don't giv up yet though, you are not out until AF. How long is your luteal phase usually?

I am not sure hun but before the last pregnancy and d&c I was normaly roughly a 28 day ish cycle kinda girl, would ovulate around day 14 and that was what I was when I got my 2 bfp's in the last 2 pregnancies at 9dpo...this is my first cyle since the d&c which was on july 16th. The period arrived august 8th but was odd cause I bled/spotted for 10 days, ovulation was late on cd 19 and so here I am...cd 28 in the morning. I think realisticaly I havnt been lucky this cycle...but I am aware that I am and will continue to test too early. So sorry to hear of your loss hunni. How are you feeling now? I know how hard and gut wrenching it is! Xx

It's been tough but we're getting through. We got married just over a year ago, and in Feb our pregnancy was a complete shock, not planned at all. Of course it was sad to have it end, but we were also ok about having a little more time just for us. Then we decided to start trying and couldn't believe our blessing when we got a BFP the first month, so losing in August was much harder. Physically too it was very very painful but I didn't have to have a D&C so I am thankful.
Hubby has been more than amazing and we are loving our life - we just would like to have a little one to share it with! Guess we'll just keep on fixing up our home to keep us distracted until we get those two lines!!

Awwww hun. It sounds like you and your hubby are very in love and devoted to each other. Fingers crossed you get your bfp this cycle and a sticky beany baby this time. When will you be testing? X

Officially (according to Fertility Friend) I am good to test on September 11th - but my doctors advice to wait until I am a week late to test would take me to September 18th!!! AArrrgh, so far away! I am not sure I will make it to the 18th - but then I will be really proud to even make it to the 11th. That would be 15dpo and I have got bfp's at 10dpo before so it will be so hard but makes sense, if I get AF - no need to test.

Yeah it does make sense and saves money on preg tests too...plus it kind of stops you peeing on stick willy nilly like I've been which in turn drives you mental....fingers crossed for yoy hun. I wish I had more will power to wait before testing x

thanks, and I guess we'll see. I can always hold out until 10dpo but after that it'll be more of a fight with myself! I try not to buy the tests and then it isn't an option.

Well...I tested again this morning at 9dpo and it was bfn! I feel realy deflated and down now!...I know its not over till the witch appears but this cramping I am having just realy indicates to me that the witch will appear in the next 48 hours... We shall see!

I'm also 8dpo and it's driving me nuts! I've done 4 tests (3 yesterday, 1 this morning) all negative. It's soo disheartening so I feel your pain, this is only our first month officially trying so I can't be too hopeful.
Have you been having any symptoms?
I was pretty sure I was just imagining them alll, but last night I got the strongest taste of metallic in my mouth aftr eating, then nothing would take it away! It's gone now though.

Yes hun. I got cramping at 6dpo and my boobs started feeling wierd and kinda achey at 7dpo and onwards. The camping stopped at 7dpo but came back with a passion yesterday and today...I have convinced myself now that its the witch on her way. Fingers crossed for you hunni....you are as bad as me....7dpo is far too early to be testing...I did it too though x

I'm currently suffering with heartburn, but I think it's because I've eaten an obscene amount today... any excuse to stuff my face though

It can also be a sign of pregnancy! Hopefully she won't show. When are you due? My heartburn has been terrible all day, just went to the toilet (tmi coming up) and had lots of waterry creamy CM?! Not too sure what to make of it all. Keep me informed as to how things go for you.

Poppielia - Don't give up yet! I had a temp drop yesterday and it went back up today, so I am hoping it might have been an implantation dip? Who knows, but I guess we'll see! I am officially 9dpo today, and officially gagging to take a test. But I got up and went to the bathroom quickly so I wouldn't be tempted today. Tomorrow I might not be so disciplined.

Thanks girls. I know its still early but I just don't get a good feeling about this cycle, I have taken 5 tests today....(Yep poas addict) and not a sniff of a line. I have to say I had a complete meltdown a few hours ago, I was a snivveling wreck for about 40 mins and my partner now doesn't want me to test for a few days and wants to confiscate my tests! All this obsession for peeing on sticks isn't healthy...I've got to the point where I can hardly go for a wee without peeing on a stick! Lol . I don't want to test for a few days but I know I have no will power at all! ... Blousey...in regards to your cm....I too have got a white creamy cm and as I've been pregnant before as I already have children I have noticed I do get a huge amount of watery slippery cm when I am in the first trimester so it could be good news for you hun. Fingers crossed! . And croydon girl....I salute your willpower. Keep us posted how things do turn out when you do test. I will be keeping everything crossed that you get you bfp this cycle hun xxx

Just to update...I tested again today...10dpo....bfn I am going to try to leave it for another 48 hours now before I test again unless the witch shows up before of course....I don't think I can stand another bfn tomorrow. Good luck for you ladies...I will keep you posted! X
