9/11 we were in abroad, can't remember where but we had seen something on a tele so I went to nosy and came back and told my parents. It scared the hell out of me and once home, I've not been on a plane since.
9/11 I was at work and it came on the News just as the 2nd plane hit the tower, everyone just stopped what what they were doing and just stared in shock at the TV.I dont think any phones rang or anything.
7/7 I was at home waiting for my shopping to be delivered and then the delivery guy arrived and we both just stood watching the TV as it was confirmed that they were bombs!
9/11 i had just come home from school - I was 12. my mum was watching the news on the TV and i didnt understand the severity of it at first and didnt get what the big deal was.
7/7 I was in gran canaria on holiday and was shocked to see the headlines on the british newspapers.
9/11 - i was at school and all the teachers were having a panic by the staff room so i done a bit of ear wigging!
think we were all allowed to leave school early, so i went home n watched the news all evening with my mum. I was terrified.
9/11 I was driving to school and when we got there it was all over the news in our classrooms. They made everyone turn off there classroom tv's as many kids had families in the towers. Such a sad day
Also, I just want to add that instead of looking back and remembering what an awful day it was, we should be looking forward and celebrating the people who died lives. They're gone and nothing can change that.
9/11 i was in the asda with my ex mil i was preg about 6months with holly,an announcement came over the tannoy sp so we went to the display of tvs and just saw the second plane hit the towers

7/7- I was at home i think and was shitting it as my family live in london and travel on the tubes and the train that got bombed was the one my uncle gets to work everyday luckily he decided to cycle that day.
I agree with Blah we should be celebrating their lives
9/11- I had just come Home from school and I saw the two towers burning
I remember asking my dad if it was a film and him shaking his head l. Our whole family just stood round the tavern staring in terror.
7/r7- I was at school when I heard the news. The scary thing was I was meant to be at kings cross on that morning, coming home from Portsmouth. But we had decided to come home early.

9/11- I was 10 years old and remember going into the dining room and mum had the tv on and it was awful.
7/7- I can't actually remember as awful as that is.
I've just been on the daily mail website and there is a story on there about people who had premonitions and knew they were going to die on 9/11. We were watching documentarys on it last night and it is so so sad.
9/11 I can't remember why I didn't see it in the morning but I either came home early from school or I saw it when I came home and it had already happened. I just remember sitting on the couch thinking "What?!"
7/7 I was in school again but I think I heard about it, went home (was in sixth form) and watched it on tv, again thinking "What the hell?!"
9/11 - I was on a break at work when I heard about it on the radio in the staff room. I hadn't heard of the twin towers before then so I didn't have much grasp of how huge it was until I got home and saw the coverage on TV.
7/7 - I was at work and had logged onto BBC news website while it was quiet.
