9wks and worried

hi everyone, iam 9 wks at 5- 6wks i got what i can only describe as period like pains that lasted a couple of days, then on sunday just gone i noticed brown discharge and i have had slight bits each day now also on monday i had lower back pains and constant period like pains again which i still have but not as bad, i dont have my first scan till wedensday so iam a bit worried as i had a m/c a few years ago, is anyone having same thing or could this be another m/c

hey dnt be worried how old are i am about 12weeks i dnt rember having anything like wot ur going through speak2ur midwife but i am sure itz normal.

Hi there,

I would say that as its not red blood then thats a good sign cause brown discharge could just be old blood.The pains could be stretching pains in the uterus,wednesday isnt too long to wait for your scan but if your worried there is no harm in talking to your doctor even if its just to put your mind at rest,

I went through similar stuff a bit earlier on, about 4-6weeks and it was just old blood and stretching/implantation cramps

Try to stay positive and keep calm hun xx

Quick question. Where does the "old" blood appear from? I have little dark bits too.

thanks everyone feel bit better now, soooo tired , i work at home and just cant seem to get my head around anything at moment, is anyone else like this.

Yep - and reading (anything other than these boards) is a chore - cant concentrate on anything. Mind you, I'm not really interested in anything else at the moment!!

ring you early pregnacy assessment unit they will get u in fro a scan ASAP .. and check the lil bub is ok xx

hi , the cramps have eased off now but i just stretch when i stood up and got a very sharp pain from my belly button to virgina plus ive been sick today, is this something to worry about, everything seems to be a big worry at mo really sorry
