A 1st birthday we won't forget

I suppose a year down the line I forget still how vunerable my girls are health wise.
It was their 1st birthday and Ashley had febrile convulsions caused by a kidney infection. By the time the ambulance arrived she was unresponsive and needed oxygen. Hospital is not the way to spend your first birthday!

Is she ok now and out of hospital?

Yes she is ok but struggling with the medication. They will admit her tomorrow if she doesn't improve any put an iv line in. Her birthday party is supposed to be Sat but if that happens we shall have to cancel. It's just a pity to spend a 1st birthday like this.

Poor little thing - I hope she gets better soon.
Don't worry if you have to cancel their party - cos they wont remember it and you can always have it in a couple of weeks time.
