A little bit concerned...Should I be?

On Sept 2nd I went to the doc for a cervical check, she said my cervix had hormonal changes and I could be prego and that if af was a no show to come in for blood test (because with my other pregnancies I was a late show on hpt). On Sept 4th af was due and a no show. I went in on Sept 12th for blood test and called them on Wednesday the 14th to get the results which were Negative. Then on Thursday morning the 15th I took to test which said positive, so I called the office and they referred me to OB/GYN...I have since took two more digi's that said pregnant...the only symptoms I am having are heartburn and on again off again sore bb's....So my concern is that I should be 6 weeks 4 days by last af...Should I have more symptoms, shouldn't the bt came back positive do you think I am only like 5 weeks instead of almost 7? I have my first appt on the 27th. I can't wait and hoping that they will give me a U/S!!! So I can put my mind at ease.

just count yourself lucky that you have no symptoms ,, heartburn and sore boobs are both definite symptoms and some women's don't kick in til about 7 or so weeks GL xx

it could be that u ovulated late so ur not as far along as ur af leads u to belive

The only other time i have heard of a blood test being negative but urine positive was a lady who ended up having an ectopic. Dont mean to worry you. Its possible you ovulated late and thats why it was negative. The lady i am refferring to had positive urine tests first and then after a few days it showed in her beta test but it was very low....even though it started doubling. I wish you luck and a happy and healthy 9 months!

Since you did not get a positive test until a bit later, then I think you could of O'ed later than what you thought, and that is why it did not show up. Hugs!! I hope your scan shows a healthy, growing little bean!! KUP!
