Hi guys. I'm just about 8 weeks pregnant, possibly 9 as I might have my dates wrong, but until today everything has been fine and then around 3 hours ago I had some blood on the tissue when I wiped.

I've tried not being too alarmed as I know it can happen but I'm having cramps on and off too. I've been prone to cramps since finding out 4 weeks ago I was pregnant but I am concerned tonight given there was a little bleeding.

There hasn't been anymore blood since but having had a miscarriage in June I am worried its happening again.

On a positive note though, I have an early scan booked for tomorrow so at least I'll know more then. I'm just really worried that its going to end the same way as last time. I was 6+2 when we lost the baby in last pregnancy so having gotten to this stage and having officially had pregnancy confirmed at first midwife appointment, I feel we have come much further this time, a few milestones reached.

Cramping has eased off now but so concerned that it isnt a good sign xxx

Try not to worry, I know this is difficult not to do. It seems to be only slight bleeding. Did you have early scan to see hb, because if you have seen hb, mc is much less likely. You could phone epu tomorrow and they could scan you for reassurance. Good luck:hugs:

Awwww how scary for you and totally understandable that its worrying you. I am sending you big hugs and positive thoughts. Thank goodness you already have a scan booked so you wont have to wait too long.

Thanks for your replies ladies. Yeah it was a wee bit of luck already having a scan booked for reassurance given the m/c last time as I need reassurance now.

I can only hope that all is okay. I'm hoping it was nothing as with pain and bleeding stopped it might be okay.

Its so horrible having to wait. I did buy a doppler but too early to hear anything concrete anyway so its not giving me much reassurance!!! If only i could get a heart beat on that I may actually believe all might be okay xxx

Sorry didn't read your post properly. Am glad you have scan tomorrow to put your mind at rest, good luck

was the bleeding bright red? how much? huntry not to worry sometimes people bleed a little right around the time their period would have been due.... did you dtd recently? did you over work yourself today? a lot of things can cause a slight bleed

It wasn't bright red and it was mixed with cm so it was difficult to say what colout really. Only there when I wiped. Its not even left a mark on my underwear and it's just cm now with no sign of any blood.

It was the cramps that were worrying me more but they have ceased now too. I have been relaxing all weekend but work was hard going last week. Heat was unbearable and I had a lot of running around to do so I made up for it by sleeping away most of the weekend.

Havent dtd recently... avoiding it for the next few weeks. So I'm at a loss really. I am more tired than normal and although bb's aren't so sore the nipples are. I havent been bothered by ms so I cant even really guage if my symptoms are lessening. I am more tired though so holding on to that.

Thanks for your response xxx

if it wasn't bright red it sounds like maybe baby was just settling in more or even your cervix just got irritated you are going to have cramps throughout the pregnancy and they will get a little more as your uterus grows... just relax and keep your feet up and hopefully everything will be fine..

I bled on and off with Charlie until I was 14 weeks and everything was fine but they never found any cause for it. Hope everything's okay for you hun x

I had a small bleed and pain at 5+2 and was scanned quickly (5+6) after seeing my GP, everything seemed ok and there was even what they thought was a little heartbeat, they told me to rest, take some time off work until spotting settled (spotted for 4days after the bleed), going back for another scan on wed to make sure things are still on track, fingers crossed it will be ok!
So try not to worry, rest and fingers crossed for tomorrow xoxo

Thanks and good luck with your next scan too. Its such a worrying time. I'm still have a little spotting but no cramps now so hoping its just LO settling in. I'll know for sure this afternoon. FX'd for both of us xxx

Scan wasn't good. Showed baby had died at 7 weeks even though I should have been 8 possibly 9 weeks along.

Devastated as the bleeding wasn't terrible and the cramping wasn't too bad either.

I had a m/c in June too so its looking like we are just not meant to have kids. Something must be wrong so we're not gonna try again. Just to heart breaking. And the pain, physically and emotionally, that I'm in now is just too hard to deal with.

I wish you all a happy and healthy pregnancy and thank you for all your kind words xxx

oh my goodness, i'm so sorry, that is terribly heartbreaking.
Thinking of you xo

aw please update once you have your scan...am so worried for you as i know how worrying it can be (things should be ok tho im sure of it) all the best x x x x :hugs: x x x x
