just wondering... as I am waiting for O i am over analysing my charts! lol!

i just wondered as oestrogen is what makes the follicle release the egg and it has a cooling effect on BBT does that mean a low BBT is a good thing?

also, on the flip side does a high BBT mean a lot of progesterone for the luteal phase and so help to keep a pregnancy?

Basically i seem to have quite low BBT before O (96.6 on average) and then a large jump to 97.8 (highest was 98) after ovulation and just wandered if this was a good thing?

From what I understnad, yes that would be good. Good luck.

thanks Scout... this baby making is a mindfield!! what did they do in the olden days with no thermometers and no OPK's!!! x

they just relaxed and had fun and poof...a baby. LOL My grandmother popped out 10 and I can't even get 1. LOL....so they had to know something that we just don't???
