I'm currently in the 2WW, but thought I'd get better answers on this.

I'd like to know about your experiences with morning sickness?

-What exactly does it feel like and where do you feel sick (like more in the stomach area or what)?

-When did you start having morning sickness?

-Anyone have diarrhoea as well or instead of?

-Does it feel like a normal illness bug?

...Anything you could let me know would be greatly appreciated xx

I think everyone is different but im just past 33 weeks and still have it. I either feel sick or im being sick  :dohh:
I sometimes feel sick to the pit of my stomach and then my mouth starts watering (this means imminent sickness is coming for me)

Good luck with the TCC btw and the sickness is worth it, I moan about always been sick but holding my last baby made it all seem like nothing.

Im one of the lucky ones i havent had any sickness at all this pregnancy if it wasnt for my belly growing and baby moving i seriously wouldnt know i was pregnant im feeling great. However differnent story when i was pregnant with my DS from about 5weeks i was constantly sick/ feeling sick, couldnt eat, was put off by everything ever little niggly thing you can imagine i had wasnt a pleasant experience but was worth it in the end :) Just goes to show how different pregnancys can be. Good luck with ttc :hugs: :dust:

Hi hun,

Okay... morning sickness for me felt exactly like a really bad hang over... that went on all day and night for weeks

Mine started at about 5-6 weeks from what I can remember and went on unti I was about 13-14 weeks.

Never had diarrhoea... I have been constipated all the way through my pregnancy.

As I said for me it felt more like a constant hangover rather than a bug/illness

Oh and the final thing to add is that smells seemed to set my sickness off, and no matter what I tried (sickness bands, biscuit in a morning, snacks) nothing got rid of it for me. I actually lost quite a bit of weight during this period.

Sorry not meant to worry you just being honest how it was for me! But I can honestly say once the sickness passed I have enjoyed every second of my pregnancy and would go through it all again :)

Hope that helps? :flower:

I hope you get your BFP! :)

Thankyou ever so much girlies!
I just hope it's the sign that I've been waiting for :)
It's hugely appreciated :) Thankyou! xxx

I've never been sick or had diarrhoea during this pregnancy.

I did feel nauseus though from about week 7 that tailed off towards week 10/11. This was the feeling that you get say from motion sickness, only occasionally did it make me feel like I was "going" to be sick (mouth watering etc).
This nausea could strike at any time of the day, but mainly in the early hours of the morning and in the evening. Eating for me didn't really help either (I was hungry ALL the time lol). Although sucking ice lollies seemed to make the nausea go away.
Oh, even though I was never sick, I did dry-heave quite alot.

xx

Thank you meg79, I haven't been sick yet either, although I've heaved. I do feel as though I'm going to though :/ Every time I move I feel like I'm going to. xxx

i only had it til 13 weeks and was never actually sick but felt very sick, especially on busses/in cars but not specific times of the day just any time

I had a 'feeling' I was suffering with MS when the pizza adverts came on Tv & they made me feel real quesy! Also, we went for an indian meal & I didnt really fancy my usual bottle of 'cobra'! :haha:

(never actually been sick, thankfully...Just felt nausea)

Wishing you the very best, hope its 'this time lucky' :hugs:

I had horrible morning sickness from 6 weeks until 6 months. I wasn't actually sick that often. I just dry retched and heaved several times a day.
It was smells that set me off like coffee and one time my own strawberry hair conditioner. And also sights like raw meat and prawns.
It felt like being permanently hungover. Sitting at my desk at work wondering whether i was going to throw up again.
Yuch. Sorry. Hope that doesn't put you off.
In a weird way I sort of liked it since it was a sign that I was still pregnant having had a miscarriage a couple of years ago.

Thankyou I hope it's 'this time' too :)
best of luck with your bump :) xx

I'll second the hungover feeling, I first had the nausea from 3 weeks! (Yes actually in the two week wait) Anything would set it off, smells (including my own brand new perfume ) to just moving around. It was worse when my stomach was empty, and later I found out the trick was to keep eating - if I hadn't eaten every two hours then I would feel horrendous. My morning sickness finally ended about week 12 - 14. About that time my boobs stopped feeling so tender (that started up at about 3 weeks too)

Best of luck with your 2ww :flower:

I'll second the 'keep eating' rule. I just snacked all day long. The only time I didn't feel sick was when I was eating.

I started getting morning sickness at exactly 5w4d, a Monday, about 12noon.

It was so yucky that yes, I can remember down to the exact time lol!

I haven't been much of a drinker since my very early 20's, but for me I felt constantly like I had been on the booze the night before. I felt hungover and very queesy, although I never vommited.

It lasted all day, and was worst whem first waking up or after eating chicken.

Thankyou lilfish, it gives me hope you experienced it that early - did you experience anything else??
Well I've been sick twice, and it wasn't until 8ish I started feeling better, I'm now ok and eating. Thankyou, I hope it is morning sickness lol xx
