Abdomnial Pain

Hi girls

Have any of you experienced really bad lower abdomnial pain?

Ive had these pains since 2pm yesterday its now 8.40a.m. they have not subsided or gone worse. No other issues apart from the odd BH and bit of backache

Im unsure weather to go hospital for checkup

Baby is still active too. Thanks x

I had the most intense abdominal pain for about 2 or 3 day at 37 weeks. It was almost best described as the worst most intense period cramps I had ever had. I actually called my midwife and she told me to take a Tylenol, get in the bath and she called me back an hour later. At that point I (TMI) had sharper abdomen pain with rectal pressure and they had me go to the hospital to get checked. It was something they called "Prodromal labour" real contractions, similar to actual labour but the pain eventually subsided. The pain had no rhythm it was more constant so the pain couldn't be "timed" per say. They did a non stress test and checked me, my cervix was still closed at the time which was a bit disappointing I cant lie but baby girl is still cooking away!
