hello all

I was born on christmas day (prem) and would love a christmas baby...i just can't wait until early next year though to...anyone WTT for a santa's little helper????

You are the first person i know who likes a Christmas birthday Mine is December 19th and I HATE it! The weather is always crap, everyone is always really busy doing christmas stuff, restaurants always try and force a christmas menu on you, effing christmas music playing in every bar, battling for space in a bar with the office Christmas parties

How come you like your birthday at Christmas? Just curious as most people I meet are the complete opposite...

My sister in law was born on January 1st and she hates it. DHs birthday is also in January and he thinks it's too close to Christmas.

I won't be trying for a Christmas baby, but I would love to announce that we're pregnant at Christmas this year!
It would be the perfect present for my parents, although dH's parents might not be as thrilled... Ah well.
(They dated for 8 years, good Catholic no- dating. And then after they got married they waited to have babies... I will never understand.)
Needless to say, they were less than thrilled when dH announced we were getting married (dH is 27, has a great job, I'm 22) and asked him if he was sure this was what he wanted.
I'm expecting flack when we announce we're pregnant, but it's our life and our family and this IS what we want - and why wait? We'll never be young again, you know?

hahaha!!! i didnt realise people didnt like it....i love it...like i mean.... love it haha!!!

i always get double the presents though and a trip away..thats maybe why i like it so much..and because i live in the back end of no-where, its never that busy....i would love an xmas baby....but im hoping to suprise my mum and dad at xmas too.....

my partners parents are like big time hippies...like hugging trees...dred-locked...their that layed back their laying down....they r going to love it.

my mum and dad....well my dad is an old fashioned gypsy...and my mum will think im not responsible enough...

Oh! My brother is a Christmas baby (dec. 18) and he always gets double the presents as well!
so he likes being an Xmas baby too

My birthday is Dec 1st and I love it! I have a neice with the same birthday and my friend's kid! I'd recommend having baby then. Birthday kicks off a whole month of fun!
I'll be ready to TTC in Nov though so hoping I can announce at Christmas too or soon after...

I definately do not want a December baby but if it happens, oh well. My DD's bday is New Years Eve, mine is the 5th Jan and my brothers is two weeks before mine on the 22nd Dec. If I had another child in December I think my mum will pass out lol.

I was a Christmas baby too. I dont particulary want a Christmas baby myself--I am hoping for a fall baby next time like Oct/Nov. Basically I want my baby to be born durning a boring month when there is nothing going on lol. I would be happy with a BFP for this Christmas though!

I always get double presents, but then that's it. I have to wait a year if there's anything I want
