Acupuncture for induction?

Hi
Has anyone used acupuncture for inducing labour?
Im willing to try anything at this point. How sucessful did you find it?
Any advice?

I haven't had it personally, this being my first and all. But I hear amazing things about it. I just read over in third tri about someone who went into labour 1 hour after having it.

I will be giving it a try if I go way over so that I won't be induced unnaturally.

I've seen fantastic results from reflexology. Acupuncture is obviously in the same line but from talking to a fellow doula who is also a qualified acupuncturist, acupuncture is slightly more aggressive. I'd recommend reflexology in the first instance and then acupuncture if needs be a few days later

i had accupuncture all through my pregnacey from 36 weeks you can start having treatments to prepare your body then from full term you can have induction treatments i had one and two days later i went in to natural labour i also find it really relaxing x
