Ollie is 1 and is asserting his independance, and before he ate everything i offered or at least tried it then threw it on the floor. Now, I get helicopter arms and he just sweeps it on the floor, often without trying it! I make a range of things, different textures and tastes and smells, and all he eats is toast!!!! Ahhrrrr!!! and fruit.
he used to eat all steamed veggies, now they just get chucked on the floor, same with veg in things such as curry.
I dont know what to do?
I cant just give him everything on toast!!!
did your LO go through this? what happened? how did you manage it?
It is making meal times v frustrating and he is about to start at the child minders in a few weeks as I go to work mid oct. help please!!!
x

Yeah, we've been through this several times, we just try and offer her at least something we know she will eat at every meal and the rest she can take or leave!

ok, thats what I have been doing, just glad it is the right thing to do, oh the joys!!! so annoying! I made the morrocan chicken out of the BLW cookbook, and it was so yum and he just swept it on the floor!! Didnt even try it, i was a bit gutted! Hubby just said more for him- typical!!

Ha ha helicopter arms made me laugh!

I find even now to only give Evie a few things on her tray at once other wise they get thrown at the cat :dohh:

thats what i do! I literally give him 3 things so he can pick. yea it is total helicopter arms, it is funny, hard not to laugh!!

We've been going through this phase too for the last couple of weeks. Good to know we're not alone.:flower:
