I don't know about FF but I would also say if he's hungry, feed him, he knows what he needs.
As for your other point. i'm sure you are doing a brilliant job with him. It is hard, harder than I ever imagined. Tobias is nearly 8 weeks and I am only just starting to learn his tells. You are doing a fine job.

Up his oz's Hun it seems he's hungry which means he's needing the extra milk, my LO was 8lb4 at birth and was putting on around 1lb per week in the early days. I don't belive you can over feed as they'll sick up what ever they don't need x

If he is crying through hunger then i would feed him. You cant over feed a baby.

I think River was on 4oz every 2 hours at that age and yes she is a big baby but its not like she is fat
