Advice Needed Please!

I really need some advice! For the last 5 nights when i put Riley to bed he wakes up exactly an hour later screaming and i mean REALLY screaming. He wont settle and if you dare to lay him back down he has a complete mental breakdown starts shaking and screams at the top of his voice! I know its not because he's not tired because he only has one nap a day and thats at about half 10-11. Im going out of my mind ive tried leaving him to cry but it just makes him worse to the point where he's smashing his head on the side of the cot and even split his mouth open. I really dont know what to do anymore Please help x

I am guessing teething as well. Oliver has been doing this past 2 nights, and he is just starting to get his first tooth...

I think it's age thing. Omar goes crazy at bedtime & he goes stiff if we try to lay him down. He ends up shouting & screaming. I know he's tired but he resists sleep. He keeps calling his dad & my mom to come & rescue him. I don't have much advise Hun, I was forcing him, then cuddle & kiss him until he settles. Last night I let him play until he got really tired, & he slept on his own. Xx

What's your bedtime routine hun? Could you do a repeat of your bedtime to convince him ti calm down and go to sleep? Maybe nappy change, bottle/BF, Story in a calm light and a few cuddles then bed?

Maybe he's just getting a bit worked up about you leaving? Could you pop him down and return at intervals to reassure him?

I'm sorry you're having these problems. He may just be having a bt of a spurt with teeth/development that's interrupting his sleep. Earl wanders around his cot and shouts/cries in his sleep sometimes when theis is happening and a quick cuddle and he's fine.
