ok so i am having a freak out, been feeling a bit rough the last few days and my BH have been quite strong, tonight however i have had an episode, lasted for about 20 mins of really mega strong tightenings but only really at the top of bump but still made my tummy go really hard, then with this is pain radiating from my lower tummy upwards like mega bad cramp and when i say bad i mean bad, i tried walking round and it didn't get any better. they only lasted or about 20 seconds each time but were coming every min or so and then after about 20 mins the pain eased off some, still have achey back and lower tum but nowhere near like what they were.now sitting down and am still having them but not as painful, any ideas what this is?xx

I couldnt say for sure hun but maybe you should ring your doctor/MW
I had something similar last night and i know how scary it can be, luckily im okay and not going into early labour but its best to get checked out.
:hugs:

Since you are still far from your due date, i would suggest you check with your doctor

Call your MW/Doc just in case. Anytime you have more than 4 contractions in an hour (and those were most likely real contractions not BH) you should call the Doc!

I agree... I don't know, but I read that when they radiate from top to bottom they are "real" contractions as opposed to when the whole belly goes hard all at once (BH). It can't hurt to run in by your doc/mw.

thanks girls, i got really scared i must admit, they seemed to ease off by 4am and i managed a couple of hours sleep but i still have the achey feeling so going up to the hospital this morning to find out whats happening,xx
