advice please

hi, im new here, im 11 weeks pregnant and i have my first midwife appt today and im a little nervous. what can i expect to happen? why is it an hour long appointment. what do they want to know?

It's an hour long b/c you'll be asked all of your family history... it's not very eventful I'm afraid.
You may or may not get your blood test (I didn't, had to go to the hospital, but some ladies do and have urine checked) you'll prob get your blood pressure checked and thats about it. x

thanks i was told they could hear heart beat now so thought they may check that. i feel like i havent been told anything as yet kinda in the dark with it all. may just be me. i thought it may be a little more exciting.

Not sure about heartbeat as I had mine when I was 6 weeks and I can't remember my sons b/c it was 14 years ago lol
