As far as I know paracetamol is all that you can take - definitely not ibuprofen. But if you are in a lot of pain it would be worth having a word with your doctor or midwife to see if there is anything a bit stronger they can recommend.
paracetamol is the only over the counter painkiller u can have... but dependin on the severity of the pain drs can prescribe stronger painkillers... i've got ibuprofen gel nd codeine (plus paracetamol).

Over the counter I think the only thing you can take is paracetamol but you can ask at any pharmacy if there is anything else you can take#, if not then you'd need to get something prescribed by your GP.
