AF but no cramping or clots ???

Is this a proper AF ??? spottin for 2 days then red blood (sorry tmi) light/medium flow but I usually have cramping and small clots... guess they'll come tomorrow

If you have red flow and need a pad or tampon, then it's AF. Consider it lucky that you don't have any cramps!

I think you should test when your finished bleeding. Although it could be a flow I have read that implentation bleeding is not alway spotty but not like a normal flow (and could be dark red) and or it could be decidual bleeding (bleeding while pregnant and why some women think they had a period while pregnant). And having to use only 5 pads/tampons a day is considered light bleeding. If your temps keep rising I would test to be sure...

i'm quite interested to see how this pans out for you, notquitesure - i'm in a similar position myself at the moment and don't feel like i'm properly having AF either. It was a day late for starters, and now in its second day but so far has just been a bit of watery blood (eurgh, sorry!) - it'd usually be heavy and red at this point, but this has just veered between pink and brown. I've been wearing pads in case it suddenly becomes heavy, but liners would've been fine as it's been so light. I don't have any heavy AF cramps, which I usually would be suffering with on day 2! And my boobs usually would've been feeling less sore by now, but they're still hurting. I tested the day I was due though, and it was negative, and I would be pretty surprised if I was pg. But this is pretty odd AF behaviour. Has there been any change for you, notquitesure?

Still light/medium (only 2-3 pads per day and 1 overnight), no cramps though... strange ! I usually give up bbt during AF but i might take it to see if it drops or rises over the next few days.

Purple-turtle... yours sounds like it could be IB !!! FX for you x

Hmm, I don't think it's IB - I think it's just a very strange period! I tested this morning and it was negative again, and I'm 14dpo at a guess so you'd think it would show. Third day of this light bleeding now - last night it seemed to be going, which is why I got a test for this morning. But today I feel really crampy and like AF is getting ready to hit me up big-style! It hasn't yet though, but it feels much more like AF than it has for the past few days. Just what I need though - I'm going on holiday on Monday so I'll be all AF-moody!
