af due today & test is lighter, is this over?

so i got my first bfp on 10dpo my testing thread is on here somewhere followed by lots of bfp but was worried when 12dpo fmu test didn't get darker however 12dpo took another test at 3 in the afternoon same day & was definitely darker. did a cb digi next day 13dpo & said not pregnant & today tested again with frer 14dpo with fmu & it's lighter again.
am i right in fearing the worst.

af was due today not here but when i wiped tiny streak of dark brown

Awww hun i kno how hard it is to see lighter tests....maybe u test better in afternoons ?? Or evenings ??? Av u tried then ??

that's what dh said but both times i was pregnant once i got a bfp it got darker everyday even with my mc my tests were all dark.

i will test once again late afternoon but i'm afraid it's just to confirm my fears either way guess i cant change the outcome so either they'l go darker (that's what i'm praying hard for right now), either even lighter or negative, or i'l start bleeding later today & wont get to test later.
it's so confusing never had this happen before where i got so many bfs that never progressed & i'm struggling getting my head round it

one test means nothing. When I was pregnant with the twins my first test the day after was also lighter, by the evening it was darker. Plus when I put the same test in the same urine I got different results. Unless it continues to get lighter a few days after I wouldn't worry, hard not to I know

My tests were darker and lighter depending at what time of the day testing also my fmu wasn't the best either, maybe you have better lines with evening pee or smu? Good luck hun xx

thankyou ladies it means alot just reading your comments. i will test again at around 3pm only other thing bothering me now is when i'm wiping there's tiny streaks on tp & i do feel like af will show. all i can do is wait & see now
