AF Pain... Any advice? <3

Hi ladies, atm i am totally bent double with AF cramps, ive took paracetamol and ibruprofen half an hour ago and ive got my hot water bottle. She came yesterday, the day before that i was on CD51! I usually have a cycle of 30-35days and periods are usually painful (i also have IBS & it dont help!) but im never this bad or heavy!

Do you think i am like this because of how long my last cycle was?
Any more tips on helping with the pain?

Hi hun,was just going to suggest maybe getting some cocodamol from your chemist or even stronger strength ones from your doctor.I swear by them they really do help.They are paracetamol and codeine.The 1s from the chest are usually around £1.50 and are behind the counter.Hope that helps x

What she said. I had really bad cramps before AF all the time and bad pain during AF, I was in bed all day for a couple days a month. It really did help me!

Now, when you are not TTC, I would recommend looking into having the Mirena, I have had it in and had AF twice since, it has worked miracles for me.. nearly no cramps to speak of or pain really!
