Hi ladies just wanted to do a bit of a poll, how are you finding buying maternity clothes on a budget?

If you could buy cheaper, affordable and fashionable maternity wear, where would you probably be most likely to buy it from?

I agree - I was gutted when I found out Primark didn't do Maternity wear  I must admit though i've only bought maternity leggings so far and have just been buying tops/dresses from Primark in a size bigger to make sure I have some growing room!

Thats exactly what i have been doing, and its not like we have to buy too many sizes bigger because the style this season is over sized tee's and jumpers with leggings!! Love it! My walldrobe will still be fine for next winter!!:happydance:

Exactly! I'm loving because usually whatever is in fashion looks stupid on me but I'm getting away with so much more now I have a bump

I bought a size 12 dress from Primark for work (i'm usually a 10) and it is big on me still! I think it'll last me til the end because it kind of pleats under my boobs meaning that there's plenty of expansion room to accommodate a big bump :)

oh ladies look on the sale section of ASOS. I have just today bought some mat jeggings and a gorgeous black/grey flower printed dress with free delivery for £20 total!
Anyway back on topic! I have no trouble finding affordable mat wear, asda, peacocks, DPs New Look etc I just cant find anything I actually like! Lukcily Ive not got too big and dont wear my clothes too tight anyway so havent actually had to buy much new stuff yet but like others, I will try and just buy bigger sizes without them looking too big around the shoulders etc

Thats a great buy! I think most items i have bought a size bigger will last me till the end of my pregnancy i am a size 10 also! Were the lucky ones! :happydance:

I was talking to someone who works for Tesco and she said they would consider a range at Tesco if enough people wanted it. Would you buy from there too?

I would go tesco, but I actually found out that ASOS are doing a maternity sale and their stuff is around the same price so just bought from there :)
I'm buying the expensive stuff just the last years outlet stuff instead lol :)

I would buy from Tesco defintely - they do some really nice stuff usually and it's really reasonably priced

I saw the ASOS sale, but they didn't have much of what i liked in my size :( booo for that!

also check out ebay for new stuff as well as second hand. I bought 2 M&S tops from there which are still on their website for 5.99 each. There are a lot of sellers which specialise in factory clearance type stuff, mamas and papas, mothercare etc. The only thing is the labels are removed. You can generally get great quality stuff for the prices as the cheaper shops. Im going to be getting all my nursing bits on there!!

Thats so true, i bought 2 pairs of Jo Jo Mamon Be Be work trousers with under the bump fit. RRP £45 each and 1 pair of YES YES Maternity Jeans Black stretch denim under bump fit Cost £35 for £3.20 and £6.00 postage. I was soooo chuffed! :happydance:

For those of us in North America, Old Navy has great mat clothes at very reasonable prices! Not sure Old Navy exists in Europe or the UK, I know you have the Gap which is a sister company of Old Navy... I bought about 10 maternity tank tops for $60, and 3 maternity dresses for $17 each when they had a 20-30% off sale!

Oh man i love Old Navy!! Can't wait till i can go back to the states to do some serious shopping!!

New look sell maternity for fairly cheap....guess where i've been today hehe x

Sorry- we don't have any of these shops in the US.
