After Six Months

After six months of ttc...went to a dr appointment this morning. Thankfully with what I have learned from these boards I have been doing everything he would have recommended. In another month I will be seeing a specialist to look at specifics. Currently in a lab room waiting for blood work. Hopefully some useful information will be coming my way soon!

Depending on your age, which I do not know. But a normal healthy couple can take a year to concieve. So I guess I am not sure why you are seeing a doctor and specialist so soon, after only 6 months? Unless there is background information being left out?

After coming off bc I was told by my doctor if I had irregular cycle for six months to revisit. I've never gotten a positive opk my charts not showing ovulation. They don't believe I'm ovulating. That with family history. I had an aunt who tried getting pregnant for 11 years just assuming she couldn't. Finally after seeing a specialist there was an uber easy fix to her issues. She got pregnant within a month. So though it may seem soon to you id personally rather not wait. So I guess it's combined family history dr advice.

Good luck and I hope you get some help from your doctor! I totally agree with you, I don't see the point of waiting for a year to see a doctor or fertility specialist. I don't care about age or whatever, I'm far too impatient to wait longer than 6 months lol! Best of luck!
