Again...last night painful contractions every

5 or so minutes for about three hours and then...BAM...nothing. Feeling so disgusting already. Why is this happening? The contractions, and then nothing I mean?

Aw that must be so frustrating but they really are prob doing something maybe pushing the baby slowly further down in the birth canal or dilating you a little? Every night for exactly a week now I have been getting really bad period style back ache it only happens at night then is gone the next morning! When I wake up for the toilet in the night the pain is really bad and I always think it may turn into something and it never does, I'm due next wed fx hopefully the pains do mean something for us and they will develop into something more!!

It is really frustrating. I have had nights like that too, and I have exactly 2 weeks to go into labour now or it is a section which I really wish to avoid (its for a medical reason and my struggling to deliver once baby gets to a certain size). The thought of a section is not making me happy, I did it twice naturally before and it wasn't so bad, esspecially when it was my teeny 5.8 lber... and I just desperately want to go NOW so the baby is still quite small. She is currently estimated in the 7 and a half lb region.

I keep seeing ladies due after me having their babies or being induced and although I am happy for them, I am also a bit jealous as I NEED to go asap to avoid the section

I guess we will have our babies soon enough no matter how it happens hey
