AHHHHHH!!! I cannot decide!!!

I just came off the pill on Thurday, was only on it for one month but had the implant (implanon) in for 2 years previous to that. I started my withdrawl bleeding on Sunday night. We plan to start trying in October straight after I have my first proper af (thats if my cycles go back to normal quickly) But I am kinda think we could NTNP this month??? As I have heard some people say you can be super fertile the month after coming off contraceptives and I don't want to miss out (I was with my son, had withdrawl bleed on 25/12/07, ovulated 06/01/08 and had BFP on 28/01/08 and my little boy was born on 19/09/08) so kinda hoping that happens again.

Oh I am confused. What does everyone think? Should I just go for it this month or should I give it a month to let my proper cycle return so the pregnancy can be dated easier!!! My sensible head tells me to wait until October but my pregnancy head tells me just go for it as soon as possible.

To be honest hun, it is completely your decision. I would personally go for the NTNP method as you have nothing to lose from trying this month even if you are unsuccessful. Go for it!

Yeh I know I guess I am a little scared because with my son we hadn't really decided that this was it we were going to try it just sort of happened so I didnt have to think about it that much before I found out I was pregnant, but this time I do. I just know I will become a pee on a stick addict. and I still think it will come as a shock when I see a BFP no matter how long it takes. I have bought a few ovulation strips and I cant wait to get using them later on this month just to see if I do ovulate. he he.

Its all so scary but I guess you have to take that jump at some point. Love to find someone that will be due their next af around 4 October and then planning to start trying so that we can compair notes.

If you start charting your temps right away, then you will know when/if you ovulate this month. Might as well start trying right away if you are ovulating.

Oh I don't know, u are all doing a good job of making me want to just go for it tho, ha ha. I will mabey just see what happens, if my cycle goes back to normal I will be due to ovulate around 18th so mabey I will just leave it up to fate and say if happens it happens but not make it happen if we dont just do it natuarly around that time. If you get me. Will keep you all updated though.

Another reason I am abit worried is because I am due to be a bridesmaid at the end of May. And I don't know what to tell my friend if I do get pregnant within the next 4 months as my dress won't be able to be altered that much. But I dont want to tell her the now that we are trying to conceive as we are not telling anyone and plan to keep it that way until I am 12 weeks if we can. When she first asked me back in April I wasn't even thinking about no 2 yet so I said yes without giving it a moments thought. I have told her I may be pregnant but think she thinks I will be 4 months max!!! I could possibly by 8 monhts gone. oopppsss
