What is your opinion of the name "Alaska" as a first name for a girl? Also, what are some nice middle names that go along with it?

Hmmmm personally not my cup of tea, but again each to their own, its YOUR child at the end of the day. Im not telling you to choose anything else, just my opinion.
Ive got 4 kids myself and i think that choosing a name for them is the hardest task that any parent can face. You have to think that they have to live with the chosen name for the rest of their lives and also how it might sound when they grow older. You have to think about how it will sound at roll call in school and if the other kids will tease them, as children pinpoint anything thats different. But then again some names are unique. Good luck with your decision

Totally not my taste, it reminds me of Alaska Nebraska from the Simpsons actually... But as above your child your choice there's no way to keep everyone happy as everyone has their own taste.

Where I live they'd be ridiculed, I can't see on my phone where you are.

It's a nice name, but it would put me off that it sounds like "I'll ask her" so potential teasing about her not knowing her name?

I really love it! I cant think of a good middle name off the top of my head, but i think its a really nice name and you have the nickname "Allie" if you want something more normal for a nn.

There's a book called Looking For Alaska by John Green , which is about a girl named Alaska. Fun fact! haha

The middle name should be one syllable and Alaska Rose does sound nice, but it also sounds like the state flower. Alaska is Russian in origin, but I can't think of a good girls name in Russian to match it. Alaska Jane sounds kind of nice to me, though.
