Here to announce the safe arrival of my perfect little baby girl Alexia 
Arrived at 7.30am on the ward with my friend (my birthing partner) and was told i would be going down around 10.30 they sent for me to get prepped for theatre around 10ish (stockings, meds and signing the consent forms!)
At 10.30 we heard there would be a slight delay as they were still waiting for some extra blood for me, as being my 4th section they were taking extra safety measures in case of complications...
At 11.15 I was taken into theatre for my spinal which took around 4 attempts as i kept experiencing an electric shock type pain which was making me jump and was pretty nasty...but finally they managed to hit the right spot and the feeling in my legs and body disappeared!
After my last baby weighing a hefty 9lb2 and my ones before her weighing 8.11 and 8.15 i expected nothing smaller than 8.5lbs and my bump being sooo huge When baby Alexia was born screaming at 11.49am weighing 7lb6 she looked soooo tiny to me!!!
She is almost 3 weeks old now and she's fitted in perfectly with my little family she's very content and her big sisters and brother are smitten with their new baby sister
