So we took a long break and finally decided it was time to start trying again. Oh the nerves I have. We're trying to be all nonchalant :coffee: about it but I don't see that happening. How does everyone deal with the nerves of trying?

We decided to try a different approach... We have used soft cups before and unfortunately had no luck but I've been reading a lot lately that having an orgasm after BDing will help suck up all the little tadpoles making it easier to conceive. I've also read that it pushes them out. I figure what's the harm in trying. So since it is my fertile period the soft cups and a vibrator has been our friend lol. We try not to make it weird but I'm hoping this doesn't have any effect on the hubby confidence wise. Has anyone had any success with this method? I can't be the only one to try it.

Oh and I've heard great things about honey and cinnamon so we went to the grocery store and stocked up. Here's to hoping that alternative methods work!

I keep trying to check my nerves. I know after 7 years of trying and with no luck I need not get my hopes up. There's no use in a broken heart. Ive worked on my business and have been trying to keep busy but it's like i have a bug at the back of my brain whispering....baby, think about having a baby...... Ugh its making me crazy.

Has anyone tried any alternate methods that they just knew were the reason they conceived? And how do you all deal with the nerves. I'm worried we will get in over our heads again and get too stressed about it and keeping busy just doesnt seem to work haha

We are on 2nd year of actively trying, I have no idea how you feel after seven. My heart goes out to you.

You have to remember that 40% of fertility issues come from the MEN. Sometimes that can even be corrected/improved by vitamins and minerals.

I have decided the last few months to try a new regime of vitamins and I will say that I have seen some positive changes in both mine and my husbands energy levels. This is what we have taken, now I haven’t gotten pregnant but have seen my Ovulation date change from day 17 -21 to now 11 – 14. My LP is about 12 days now instead of 10 – 11!

I am on:
Multi Vitamin - Prenatal
B6 & 12 complex with folic acid
Co Q10 - try 300 mg
Vitamin C: 1000mg
Vitamin D (1 pill every other day now there is sun outside)
Zinc (1 pill every other day just because)

Hubby is on
Vitamin C - 1000mg
Zinc - 100 mg
Co Q10 - again trying 300mg
multi vitamin

Link to another post that had success in changing DH’s sperm quality – there is no harm in doing this, if anything will give him a boost. If he is anything like my Hubby he will snub his nose at it for awhile then agree to take them after you buy matching pill boxes and take them at the same time lol.

Ill definitely check it out. I wish we had insurance to cover going to a dr. but unfortunately we can only go but so far. As of now were know I'm ovulating and my levels are great and he has good count and motility but slightly abnormal morphology so we're wanting to try some different ways and just have fun with it. No stress. We're young so we have time :)
