Am being sent to hospital

Been to see MW today, still getting my headaches and still have high BP so they are sending me to hospital for some checks/monitoring. Have an appointment for 6 this evening.

Has anyone else been to hospital for this? Does anyone know if they are likely to keep me in over night?? xx

If they suspect pre-eclampsia they will probs keep you in over night hun, Id take a bag with you. Good luck xx

Did they check your urine for protein too?

I would take a bag to be on the safe side

Yeah they checked, my urine is fine and no swollen ankles or hands. Its because of high BP, headaches and also said that since headaches movements had slowed down - only a little but is a bit of a difference.

Am getting a bit nervous now.

I hope everything goes okay...I had pre-eclampsia in my first pregnancy and this time around I have developed pregnancy induced hypertension, which they are treating with pills, but are going to deliver me at 36 weeks because of it.

It's good that they want you to get checked over...easier said than done; but try not to worry

Thank you ladies! I have just got home, been in hospital for last 2 days. Am on high blood pressure tablets which have been working and its come down now.

They are keeping a close eye on me and if goes back up again they may induce me xx
