Am i the only lazy one??

At night, i can only get Poppy into her cot if i breast feed her lying down so she falls asleep... then i slowly, gently place her in her cot and she stays asleep.

Also at night i feed her lying down. Which means half the time we fall asleep and she stays in bed with me for a few hours.

AM i the only lazy one? I just don't have the energy to feed her sitting up in the night any more. And i have real trouble getting her to self settle..

I feed Alex lying down, i found doing it sitting up he wouldnt go on right and we would both get frustrated. It doesnt tire me out as much.
OH makes sure i dont fall asleep though so Alex doesnt sleep in our bed.

I do, I feed her (or comfort her) lying down before her bed. But we have to wait about 30min before transfering her to her crib.

I don't do that at night-i'm incredibly lucky that Ellis will happily feed then settle herself in the evening- but i do confess to bringing her into bed and feeding her lying down in the morning because then i can attempt a 'long lie'-as soon as i'm vertical in the morning thats me up so i try to stay horizontal as long as possible.

In the night I lie down when I feed Carmen and normally I wake about an hour later and she's there still feeding...well, still sucking anyway. Every night I vow I will feed her sitting up to avoid this but at 3am I think differently!!! Problem is, I'm doing this about three times a night and at 4 months she and I should know better!!!

I'm the same. Every night i have the best intentions to sit in the chair in the nursery and feed her....3am comes and i'm SOOO tired and grumpy i just grab her and lie straight back down again. Was much better to begin with, but those night feeds are starting to take their toll...plus feeding lying down has got so much easier.

We were doing this when harry was having night feeds too, we still do it if he wakes up early and the others are still asleep, i put him in the bed with me and he is sometimes still fluttery suckling an hour later when we wake up!!!

I'd say after the first month or so 99% of Hayden's feedings were laying in my bed haha. He coslept so then we did, even during the day though I would g lay down and nurse him, unless we were out somewhere that's how he was nursed. He latched on much better that way and we wre both more relaxed soworked out better for us

I am lazy but Caitlyn will feed anywhere now, I just pop my boob out even if she's stood up next to the sofa

i could never even get her into her cot without her waking up so thats how i ended up co-sleeping in the first place, had a spare double bed so we now share it!
i just roll over to her side of the bed when she stirs and feed her till she falls asleep again then crawl back to me own side..
even lazier i play games and check facebook and msn people on my ipod in the night when im feeding her gives me a bit of light and keeps me awake - i even went through a stage of laying awake waititng for her next feed just cos i was desperate to beat me high score on bejeweled!

I do the same, I sit with my phone and browse bnb or other websites. Kinda like I'm doing now lol
