Ammonia smelling urine, burning when urinating, sting across pubic bone after exercis

I was at Walmart and bought an AZO test kit, came back dark purple for the luekocytes, negative nitrates so I went to instacare thinking I for sure had a UTI.

I downed a bottle of water on way to doc. The lab came back, no infection.

The doc put me on an antibiotic as I had every symptom, but I wonder why test was negative.
