Amnio test and flu shot

Hello ladies,

I am scheduled to have an amnio done this Wednesday but I was thinking about getting my flu shot this weekend. I was wondering if maybe I should wait on the flu shot since poor baby's environment is going to be pocked by a needle. Do you think it could infect the baby somehow? Probably a stupid question but I thought to ask.

i don't know if it could affect the baby, but i don't think so.
still, i think i'd wait in case your defenses go down after the shot and you are not as well prepared for the procedure.
