So sorry, for starting my own... anyway, here goes. I'm 6.5 weeks and so far I've only had nausea, sometimes it gets pretty bad, other times it's just endless queasiness (since 5 weeks on the dot). Next week we were going to go to Thanksgiving at my moms. We have to travel to get there for two days in the car, and then my whole family will be there, a lot of whom I would rather not tell that I'm expecting yet. If my nausea stays about the same, I can handle it/ hide it, if not, I think I'd rather not bother going. Obviously there is no way to predict but I thought I would ask. How many of you had mild nausea that progressed to worse nausea/ vomiting, and what was the time line like? I realize everyone is different, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask. I'll be 7 weeks 2 days at Thanksgiving...
Cheers!

Hi Hun.

I'm 9 weeks today and since week 5 I've felt sick in various degrees. I haven't been actually sick I just feel it most of the time. There have Been four days where I have been glued to my bed where I feel so bad I can't stand up other than to go to the loo.

I have had to cancel so many things in my diary. Basically by 6pm every night I'm too tired to stay up and now usually feeling sick too. So I'm in bed really early every night.

I have 4 big weekends coming up before Christmas including a wedding away from home, 2 nights seeing comedians, seeing friends and various dinners. My plan is to sleep as much as possable during the day so hopefully by the night time I can handle it.

I wouldn't swop this. I just think of next summer and my beautiful baby but I do wonder how others do this and keep living normal lives. I get through teaching day by day, some days u get a few hours of feeling great, other days I cant lift my head.

If you feel you are up to the long car journey and can hide your sickness with your family and friends then go for it Hun. Eek ;)

Hugs x
