and so we hit the growth spurt but is it possible to overfeed ??

just as i thought 6 week old Lucas was settling down into a nice 6oz every 3 hours routine we seem to of hit a growth spurt !!! today hes fed at 8:45am 10:45am 3pm 5pm(all 6oz) and 7pm (4oz?) but it possile to over feed wouldnt drinkit if he surely he wouldnt drink if he i didnt want it ? i do try everything else inbetween nappy toys talking singing dummie lol hes so crabby inbetween i think hed be happy to feed every hour if i let him

I wouldnt worry, he will just sick up what he cant manage. My LO is on another spurt now at 10 weeks!!

really? is he feeding every 2 hours even at 10 weeks ? lol all my fella does is cry all the time i dont know whats up with him ?hes been fed,changed talked to played on play gym put down picked up ,lord !! hes on the comfort milk so wouldnt of thoughti t was colic? hes inconsolable ...

I would feed on demand. He won't take it if he's not hungry as a general rule, but if he does drink too much he'll just bring it back up as already said!

Imogen is going through the same thing at the moment feeding every 1-2 hours, think its just the 6 week growth spurt!
