Put Jaden down for his nap, made sure he was asleep and ten went into the garage (10 meters from the house at end of garden)

I was changing some of his toys around, he normally sleeps for an hour so i had plenty of time. But i came back in after 10 mins to hear him screaming, walked upstairs to find sick all over the landing and him and teddy covered in blood.

OMG he must have woken up and got all upset and got sick but i have no idea where the blood was from he wont let me check his mouth

OH is on his way back from work so we can go to the walk in centre, it would take me an hour and a half on the bus.

Im a bad mum!!!!!!

The way my Lo normally naps, I could go out and do a weeks shoppin and come back to her still asleep (not that I ever woul or hve before you cal SS lol)

He probs got upset very quickly and i reckon you have been there no later if youd been in the house.

Try no to beat yourself up too much or for too long

I normally take it out with me but completely forgot typical the one time i dont take it i need it

Thank you i just wish he would let me see in his mouth! if he fell he might have knocked a tooth which would be better than it being from being sick!

Your not a bad mummy hun. If he has banged his mouth on something, it would have happened whether you were 10 metres away in the garden or sat downstairs having a cup of coffee. We've all gone into he garden to hang out the washing or something and left baby asleep upstairs. I hope he is ok. Let us know how you gte on at the walk in centre xx

even if u had the monitor its prob would of still happened anyway in the time it took u to get up to him, so dont feel bad.

he must be ill for him to of been sick so thats not ur fault. sometimes ive zane bangs his face i had to pin him down to check his mouth, doesnt sound nice but i have to.

Oh, poor little mite! That's got to be really sore! Like everyone else says, don't blame yourself: he could probably have contrived to do that if you'd been sitting by his bed. Sooner or later, you've got to turn your back on them, and they won't grow up normal if you don't anyway.

Thank you all, he is running round as normal today like there is nothing wrong so i guess he is ok! I guess i wouldnt be mum if i wasnt really worried and guilty everytime he gets hurt.
