first, going through mc at 14 weeks was not fun. then i had (still am) bleeding for near on 2 weeks and constantly getting the... sorry to hear your news/ you are still young/ some people can only have one or the other/ perhaps you left it too late for another one (etc) comments and people who didn't know i was expecting asking if we were thinking about having another one.
i now have another problem. last night my body decided to go into mum mode and i started producing milk. is this normal?

I'm not sure if that's normal. I had a mmc at 12 weeks and I didn't have that happen to me but I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Just wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss. It's such a hard time. So many people don't know what to say so they say whatever they think of and so often it's completely insensitive. I found that really hard too. I was 3 weeks ahead of my best friend and when I lost my baby she said 'I feel so bad, it will be so hard for you to see my bump and my baby' now she wonders why I don't want to see her!!!

Hi am so sorry for your loss. I recently mc twins at 14wks and yes totally agree it was not fun. It is normal to produce milk because of how far gone you were. I was warned about this by several people on bnb and the nidwife saud it can happen-I actually bought breast pads before in case. I ended up with mastitis and my ducts blocked but no actual milk came out then it went away after a few days. You can get a pill from the doc to dry this up if you want to. It is like adding insult to injury though isn't it?!? We had announced the twins so everyone knew. I didn't go back to work for 4 wks and more or rlse saw no one but my fiance and it worked for me but everyone's different. I bled for just over 3 weeks but it went to brown spotting really for the last wk. Just got my first af now so hopeful for the future. Look after yourself.xxx
