Another announcement.

Went to work on Monday and a girl I work with announced she's pregnant.

I'm happy for her but I feel awful that I've spent everyday since then judging her situation. She's the same age I was when I fell pregnant with DD (19) I have no judgement on that. She lives with her mum, I've only ever heard her talk about her OH in negative view.

She only works 6 hours a week. Her baby was planned. She's a lovely girl I have absolutely nothing against her, she's even said I'll be unofficial godmother (unofficial as she doesn't believe in religion and christenings etc) which I'm thrilled to bits about but I still feel like the envy in my face was apparent when she told me.

When did I turn into this awful judgey mcjudge judge!!

Jealousy pangs are horrible...are you waiting to try yourself?

Guess knowing you'l have to watch her go through pregnancy if you're close in the office isnt nice

You having been in her position means you'll be such a great resource and friend for her. I think it's totally normal to have pangs and be judgey, completely totally human. The best thing you can do is make up for it by being supportive. She's pregnant now, too late to turn back the clock!
