I've tried it twice and it didnt work. I dont think it will unless something is already happening. I dont think I'll be trying it again unless I go over due.

Ya, if you are low on fluids I wouldn't do it... It can cause you to dehydrate which can cause your fluids to dimish even more which may send your baby into distress...

Hiya, i havnt tryed mine yet because my babies dad has been in london since yesterday, had to see specialists at a special hospital because something might be up with his eyes. I didnt want to try the oil and baby makes an apperance when im in the flat all by myself and would have to give birth by myself because my mum isnt about either! Im a little worried about trying it aswell, So im holding off for aslong as i can so gives baby more time to come by himself if he is going to!! Although i am very impaitent and fed up, i was in tears yesterday just wishing he would come soon!

If u try it let me know, i want to know if it works for u!! x

I'm not doing it when I go overdue, and I'm already desperate to get this baby out. You could try getting a reflexology massage, the accupressure is supposed to set you into labour. I'm scheduling one for my bday if she isnt here by then

If you are worrying about it then dont take it, simple as that!
There is always a risk with what ever you try.
Personally I wont be even contemplating Castor oil, but i will be taking the raspberry leaf tea again.

I've had many people tell me to take it, and that they swear it's what started them in labour. However, I've also heard alot of negative things about it, and to be honest, my personal opinion is that I just don't think it's worth the risk, in case I am that one person in so many who has a bad reaction.
I think it's got to be a personal choice for each individual.

I tried it last time but not till i'd gone past my due date. I didn't work for me and it was the worst thing i'd ever tasted.
