the opk i had yesterday had a very visiable line, not pos but still 2 lines...

the opk today had a barely there second line....

do you think i missed ov?? still trying to learn where im at cycle wise as only on no2 since BCP.....

any idea would be welcome this ttc stuff is harder than it looks

I've had trouble with OPK's myself but the lines don't necessarily have to get darker before they become positive. It can depend on what time of day you test, how much you've had to drink, etc. Once you get a positive result don't keep testing though because believe me, it adds a TON of confusion. Are you charting as well? That might help a lot in determing your OV date.

I agree with angel... OPKs can be tricky, but concentration of pee and time of day can cause a line to be darker one day and lighter the next. You truly are only looking for a strong postive line.

I had one cycle where I didn't get a 'real' positive but had MUCH darker, almost-positive lines right around when my BBT chart showed ovulation. So its possible to miss it, but it just depends.
Are your cycles regular? Are you about the time you would expect to ovulate? If not, then I wouldn't assume it was positive.

Charting your temp or checking your CM can help pinpoint ovulation too.

thanks ladies...
im only on cycle no 2 since bcp so prob not like clockwork yet... i have been getting an odd pain in left side which ive never had before i posted here and it was suggested that it may be ov pain even tho i was only about 4 days post bleeding which confused me so i thought id test to see... well needless to say im more confused now hee hee!! i will test on the days around when i think it 'should' be happening and see!!
