Another question for those ladies on anti sickness meds

At which point did you dare to try a day without them? I was really reluctant as i am still feeling sick even when i am taking them but decided to give it a try today...BIG mistake! Spent the day feeling worse than ever

In my last pregnancy i was so sick i was in and out of hospital till 16wks but having read so many posts on here from women who have been sick all the way through their pregnancies i am now worried sick that this will happen to me. I just couldn't handle it, i have already lost 19lbs (4lbs of which i have managed to put back on the past week or so) i just can't bear the thought of another 6 months of this.

Any advice welcome xxx

I'm not on any meds for sickness, I've been wearing seabands which have been a godsend, maybe you could give them a try?

I was skeptical that it was really them that were working, thought maybe my nausea had gone away so I took them off today....BIG mistake! lol

I tried everything before i was finally put on sickness tablets honey and i still wear sea bands just in case taking them off makes things worse! Thank you so much for the suggestion though. I wasn't even keeping water down for a good while and i've had to go on a drip a few times. Consultant has diagnosed hyperemesis gravidarum, i just hope it doesn't last the whole way through xxxx

i've just started on anti sickness tablets & i only have 10 days worth! i'm scared about day 11 already eek!!!

I said I'd stop mine once I felt nearly normal on them. At the moment I still feel horrific even taking them so I dread to think how rough I'd be without!!

Not tried sickness bands yet, will give them a go along with the tabs, see if it makes a difference XX
